Location Scout: Selects the set Location(s) to be used for the scene and presents it to the Director. Sometimes there will be two or three possible locations, and the Director and Artistic Director will select the one to be used for the shoot. The location selection has to happen early on so the rest of the crew can do their jobs.
Once you have found a location you like for the scene, simply create a notecard that has a landmark for the Location and the following information about it:
Is the land Build-able for guests or group "Martian's Builders"?
Do scripts run?
Fly or no-fly zone?
Damage-enabled?
Any other special considerations you see?
Name the notecard "Location for Scene " and the scene number and name, and deliver it to the scene Director.
The scene Director and Artistic Director may want to meet you there and discuss details and set up.
