Location: Mars (128,128,40)

VISITING MARS feels wierd... like the whole place is made of rubber and steel. There are some interesting things going on Mars - a definite worthy location for a bit of exploring.

For one, the outstanding Great Library of Anoth is there. Mapping right into the Mars territory on the outside, it totally looks like the Jedi/Star Wars central Library on the inside. At first, I thought there wasn't very much information here, because many of the shelf slots look empty. When you start clicking around, though, the info is plenty. And then you discover the next floor... and the next... and the top floor, which has its own cool treasures. Wow, there was more stuff in this library than I could save. All of it supporting Star Wars and Star Wars role play. Good images tucked away in the shelves as well!

And, while the Library will take you a while to explore, don't stop there. If you look, you'll also discover a neaby underwater find. Some extreme terrain on Mars - as you'd expect - really lends it a different feel and traveling mode. It's a nice change of pace from the suburbs, and a refreshing example of creativity in SL.
